Critique the 4 "smart clothes" items that were shown in the CNETTV video. Would these be items that you would purchase, if available? What do you think of the design? Do they look fashionable to you? What would you estimate that the price of these items would be?
The solar panel bag seems like something I'd buy if it wasn't so expensive. The belt seems interesting, while fashionable it also tells you your steps and waist line. The exercise suit isn't something I'd were in public but it is a nice idea for exercise enthusiasts out there. The suit isn't really all that, yes fashionable, but its not that hard to just press a button on your phone. In short some of the products I would buy, if not for the price, but others I would not.
ReplyDeleteI would not use the clothes for anything or the belt. I would defiantly us the portable back pack charger because it looks the coolest out of all the items that were listed of and shown. Something like that probably costs a couple hundred dollars. I like he design of all the products. Yes they do look fashionable to me.
ReplyDeleteI would use the purse if it was for iPhone. If it was not so expensive I would also buy it. It all seems interesting but it is not very fashionable to where people would want to wear it as much as their normal clothing. I would have put this on the market awhile ago and see if it would have sold. The prices are really high and I would not buy anything for that much.
ReplyDeleteI think that it is an cool idea of what they invented with the smart clothes. I do not feel as if I would buy the suits or the body fat outfit that they had. The belt is expensive you should already know if your gaining weight so I feel that is a waste of money. The purse I might buy because it was cute and fashionable and you could also charge your phone in the purse without bringing your charger with you or an portable charger.
ReplyDeleteYes they would be purchased by a lot of people. I think if they put it in more things people actually wear and not suits it would sell fast. It looks like something someone would wear if they were on a business trip. I think the price would be around a thousand dollars. The only reason I think that is because when things are new and come out and made by a top brand its going to be more money because they are going to make a profit out of it.
ReplyDeleteOut of all the types of clothing, the solar panel bag and the belt. Both are very useful and interesting. The suit seems unnecessary, though. It's purpose is to unlock your phone and put it on silent. You can already do that by pressing a button on your phone, seems as a waste of money to me. But, I would most definitely use the solar panel bag to charge my phone and the belt to help me keep track of my eating habits.
ReplyDeleteThese products do not look fashionable to me and they seem kind of superfluous. Portable chargers already exist so the bag with the solar panels is a bit much. And they have watches that measure your perspiration, steps, heart rate, etc. for $10-15 so the $500 suit is overdoing it. Needless to say these items are already extremely expensive. I would not consider buying them.
ReplyDeleteThe bag with the solar panel will be a big part of the future in my personal opinion, we rely on our phones a lot and it'll be easier to charge your phone. The belt is important to people who keep a healthy exercise, mainly for the fact it keeps track on how much you eat, walk, etc.The exercise suit will be great to wear when you go running, exercising, and stuff like that.I would probably buy mostly everything on this list, depending on the price.
ReplyDeleteThe belt seems interesting, while fashionable it also tells you your steps and your waistline. I would wear the belt if it was not very expensive and if they made it more feminine. I really like the solar powered bag because then you could charge your phones. The bag is a great idea for someone who is always on the move and needs to charge their phone. The exercise cute is definitely not fashionable but it does serve a great purpose by telling you your vitals while you exercise. The Samsung suit looks very professional and also has the unlock your phone thing in the sleeve. I would think all of these items would be between $200 and $500.
ReplyDeleteI would purchase the body combass. I think that this design is helpful in ways of knowing your heart rate and how much body fat you loss while exercising. Yes it looks fashionable to me because it looks like any other clothes you would workout in. I think that the body compass would cost at least $75 since its telling you your heart rate and body fat.

ReplyDeleteWith these products you can keep track of practically everything about your body. Also the bag I would buy without a doubt because it will charge my galaxy s5. If these ever come out then I will not hesitate to buy a suit and a bag. The only problem would be having the money to buy these very expensive but useful products. They are trash but not trash at the same time.
I would not buy any of the "smart clothes" just because it's not really worth the money. I don't really wear belts anyways so i feel that it would be a waste of money to have that belt although, it does have some good features that comes with it. I really don't see the point of buying the purse to keep it in the sunlight just so you can charge your phone when you could buy a less expensive portable charger to charge your phone without burning your purse and whatever else is inside of it by the sun.
ReplyDeleteI really like the idea of the solar panel book bag and purse. It is a way to show improvement in technology but also be Eco-friendly by using the sun for power. These items don't look very fashionable but they look very high tech and creative more than anything. I would price each item $250 dollars to about $750 dollars. I wouldn't purchase one of these things because i don't have a Samsung Galaxy to charge my phone and i don't exercise a lot. Even though these ideas are very new and fresh i don't believe it will be a top seller if it ever hit markets around the world.
ReplyDeleteI would purchase these items if the price was as high. The solar panel bag is an energy saver and you can charge your phone while you're out of the house. The belt measures your waistline, count your step, and indicate your eating habits if your gaining weight. I think its very useful for people who like to watch their weight. The belt is very fashionable and classy looking.
ReplyDeleteThe only thing that looks fashionable was the belt and the coat.I would purchase the solar bag because it can come int handy when going out and you have no charger available. I think that the belt and the bag will be a big thing the future because that what people will use.The Prices on these items will be high if they do sell them here in the U.S.
