Wearable technology, once the stuff of old spy movies, is rapidly moving into the 21st century. Today, consumers can buy wristbands that count steps and track sleep, athletic shoes that monitor fitness, watches that double as phones, and smart glasses that function as a computer or GPS. Imagine that you have invented an exciting new item of wearable technology. Write a paragraph in which you describe this item, explain what it does, and convince readers to buy it.
I would have a new technology that has something to do with your heart rate. Tracking your heart rate is one of the most important things to do so that you do not get sick. Most people have to go to the hospital because of how high their heart rate is. Tracking your heart rate will help you determine about how much exercise you need and about how much you need. Having this invisible device will help only you track your heart rate. Only you will know that you have it on.
ReplyDeleteI would build something with a mechanical arm so you can grab things while you are sitting down. It is this handheld object that you hold and a arm will grab anything you want when its in your posession. If your tired of getting up for your T.V remote, use the arm to get it. The arm will grab anything you tell it to.
ReplyDeleteThis item that i would have created is a hearing aid that translates all languages into your language. This way when you travel to different countries you can understand them and communicate back so you can or could get what you want. I'd buy this it is a very useful tool when you go on vacation or if you're a business man trying to make a sales.
ReplyDeleteMy invention would be something that helps people to track their mass of fat so that they do not gain a lot of weight. This will help them realize what is good and bad for them to eat. You have to put every meal that you would like to eat into the little monitor and then it will tell you if you should eat it or not and how many calories and sugar it has in it. Anything you would like to know about your meal it will tell you but you have to tell it what you weight is and how much weight your trying to lose.
ReplyDeleteI would make a glasses that make you seem like you are playing a game in real life. You could be any where and playing the game. You would have to have a controller that was wireless and blue tooth so you wouldn't have a cord hanging in front of you. You could either be in game mood or you could have it just exploring space or the ocean or something i really don't know .
ReplyDeleteI have created the latest item, it will change the way we see transportation. I have made the first gravitational disruption belt. I made this for the people who push themselves past what there capable of, like parkourists, mountain climbers, and so on. it uses a distortion field that when activated based on your weight and setting, will allow you to survive the most unthinkable of falls. No more tips to the hospitals that you dont come back from.

The wearable technology I would invent is a watch that tells you how much calories you had in a day. After every meal it keeps adding the calories from that meal you just ate to the previous. The people who would probably want to buy this watch are the ones with health problems. Or if you just want to watch how you're eating and how many calories is in your meal then you too would want to buy it. So if you have health problems and want to watch how you're eating just buy the calorie watch.

ReplyDeleteThe type of item i would make would be a pair of glasses the are able to be your camera. All of the things you could do with them is of your own choice. They would be able to zoom in and take pictures by blinking four times as fast as you can. In order to zoom in you blink once then blink again after .5 seconds. Lastly they have the capability to record all events that occur in your day and even the sounds that you hear. These will be both prescription and non-prescription glass wear. These glasses would have the capability to monitor all crimes around you and report them on sight without you having to tell it to. The one and only thing it will not report is traffic violations. Lastly this product has a night vision option so you are not in the dark without sight. The night vision automatically turns off when there is light around you so you do not end up going blind. If i were to make one of these items this would be what it is. -Joshua Perkins

DeleteI would create headphones with Pandora, GPS and Siri built in. It would be cordless, and charges automatically when connected to WiFi. There would be a button on one of the ear parts, you would hold it and give it a command by speaking, such as "Play Beyonce radio" or "Give me directions to Starbucks". The headphones will come in various colors so one will suit everyone hopefully. I will call these headphones "MyPhones".

ReplyDeleteIf I could invent a new piece of wearable technology it would be a watch that doubles as a stun gun. It can be done and even James Bond, one of the most effective spies (if not THE most effective spy) carried one. In a bad situation where you need to act fast no matter if you're experienced or inexperienced? All it would take is a simple action and you could come out of it Scott-free. Also it tells the time, so that's an automatic plus.

You can simply send a text by activating the device and telling it who you would like to text and the message you want to send.

ReplyDeleteMy invention would be a watch that would notify and vibrate so you could move around. If you're not doing too much movement in 2 hours it will notify you to move. It will input how much you do a day and for how long. This watch will make people move much more and it will make them less lazy. People would be motivated to get up and move around.

ReplyDeleteI would invent like some type of sneakers that tell how long you walk.I know that there is a a watch that does but not everybody remembers there watch but you have to have shoes on if you plan on going out. Also you it can do other things like give you a massage or cool or heat your feet. Also people can create there own design of there shoes if they liked to.Edgar Balois
ReplyDeleteI would invent a some type of device that could tell you how your body is functioning. You could see your blood pressure, cholesterol, etc. It could also know if you are sick or healthy and it could recommend you a type of medicine or give you healthy food choices. Probably you could start saving a lot of money. I think this would really help us out.
ReplyDeleteI would create a wearable technology that lets you see what you are hearing, For example, when a teacher is lecturing and you get confused you could see what he is saying. Some people learn better when they see what they are learning. This technology would be helpful in college.
ReplyDeleteTo me the pros are faster internet and it helps you a lot more and it looks like you can take it on the go where ever you go without having to have WiFi I think. The cons are that since its not completely done with its not all the way up to date meaning that anything you try and get on it either might crash or put an virus on the item. I do not think you should spend money on that because its an unfinished product.
